For the 11th time now the tournament was hosted in Eislingen. Once again a wonderful event with outstanding flair for the fencers. Recent possibility to fence in 2 halls in Eislingen, allowed a tight schedule and a punctuality from the very start to the finals to be kept. In the women's individual event a young Hungarian was the strongest followed by very strong performance by fencers from the USA.
