Italy, Germany and France take gold on first day 9 of Championships

In the penultimate day of competition in Sochi, the team competitions the podiums were dominated by the traditional powerhouses of the sport. In women’s epee Italy took gold, in women’s foil Germany took first while in Men’s Sabre France were victorious.
