U23 Championships in Plovdiv

European Under 23 Championships started in Plovdiv, Bulgaria with women's epee and men's saber.

Women's title ended in the hands of Italian Marzani Roberta, that defeated Predescu Alexandra (ROU) 15:6 in the final. Both bronze medals took russian fencers, Okhotnikova Irina and Soldatova Anastasia. 

In men's saber, Kostenko Anatoliy (RUS) prevailed over Dreossi Leonardo (ITA) in the final, leaving Dragomir George (ROU) and Bonah Raoul (GER) with bronze.
