HIGH ATTENDANCE PROMISING FOR CONTINUATION OF ONLINE TRAINING
Today the EFC held its second online training session for armourers with over 70 participants in attendance. Host Etienne van Cann, Head of the EFC’s SEMI Commission opened the seminar welcoming everyone, introducing the speakers and special guest EFC President, Stanislav Pozdniakov.
Addressing the audience, Pozdniakov said, “I cordially welcome all participants of the second SEMI webinar. We are truly delighted that our webinars are so popular – we can see how the audience keeps growing. In these challenging circumstances it is crucial to be proactive and use all available and potential opportunities, platforms, and technology to maintain and support fencing activity in Europe. Our managerial approach in the EFC is based on social integration and educational and cultural values - in all areas and on all levels.”
“It is noteworthy that we have launched this new project at an absolutely crucial period for our organization because this year we are also celebrating the EFC’s 30th Anniversary. I can’t but underline the satisfaction by the fact that so many participants dedicate their time and resources to contribute to the events we organize for you – to keep on working together and making the EFC even more united and stronger.”
“I would like to thank those who make it possible – moderators, especially head of the EFC SEMI Commission Etienne van Cann, mentors and special guests for their contribution to the project. I wish all attendees great and fruitful work. Let’s be active and hope see you soon in person.”
The speakers, Stefan Clausen, Peter Huggins and Martina Zmaic, covered clothing, conductive materials and masks, respectively, explaining the best practice for equipment testing and troubleshooting. The webinar concluded with a question-and-answer session open to all participants.
The final SEMI webinar in this series takes place in two weeks.
