Moedling hosted ECC saber competitions in boys and girls categories.
In the men’s saber event, unusually large pool of competitors (184) started at the beginning of the day, resulting in a big success of USA fencers who managed to place 1st (Walker Christopher), 2nd (Park Donghwan) and 3rd (Vidovszky Robert). The only place left in the final four filled Ailinca Rares (ROU).
Women’s saber competition introduced even more athletes than men’s saber (186) indicating truly high level of competition. The winner became Miller Sky (USA) who def Corteyn Jolien (BEL) Third places shared Vutova Teodora (BUL) and Clapier Fauestine (FRA).
