The European Fencing Confederation's U14 European Circuit competitions over the past weekend were nothing short of thrilling, as young talents showcased their skills in Sofia, Bulgaria, and Grodzisk, Poland.
In Sofia, Bulgaria, the Men's Epee category saw a fierce competition, culminating in Krzysztof Sadowy of Poland clinching the gold medal. Solu Ngoka from Great Britain claimed the second spot, while the bronze medals were shared by Gabriel Petrov and Hristian Vasilev, both representing Bulgaria.
On the other hand, the Women's Epee event in Sofia witnessed Magdalena Cika from Serbia emerging victorious, followed by Ariana Covaci from Romania in the second position. Bianca Raicu and Athina Tallidou, from Romania and Greece respectively, secured the joint third spot on the podium.
Meanwhile, in Grodzisk, Poland, the Men's Sabre category was fiercely contested, with Bence Revesz from Hungary claiming the gold medal. Jakub Lipinski from Poland secured the second position, while Kacper Karczmarczyk and Dominik Zubko, both from Poland, shared the bronze medal accolades.
The Women's Sabre event in Grodzisk saw Viktoria Voytova from Germany capturing the gold medal, with Oliwia Dwornik from Poland finishing in the runner-up position. Zofia Wolska and Julia Puskaric, representing Poland and Germany respectively, shared the third place on the podium.
