In Florina, Greece, the U14 European Circuit in épée witnessed strong performances from local fencers. In the boys’ épée category, Christos Pappas (GRE) clinched gold, edging out Ors Mente (HUN) in the final. The bronze medals were shared by Rafail Lazou (GRE) and Felix de Poumeyrol (FRA). The girls’ épée event was dominated by Greek fencers, as Marilia Kekeli (GRE) took the top spot, followed by Angeliki Emmanouela Salavoura (GRE) in second place. Ela Atilgan (TUR) and Margeta Tantsopoulou (GRE) completed the podium with bronze.
Meanwhile, in Brno, Czech Republic, the U23 European Circuit in foil brought together some of the best young talents in the discipline. In the men’s foil, home fencer Lev Michael Holy (CZE) emerged victorious, defeating Roger Romero (VEN) in the final. Petar Files (CRO) and Hlib Mukhopad (UKR) secured bronze medals. The women’s foil event saw Lilli Maria Brugger (AUT) claim gold, with Michala Illekova (CZE) taking silver. The bronze medalists were Uliana-Dumitrita Josan (MDA) and Jazmin Sperka (HUN), both showcasing promising performances.
