European Fencing Circuit Expands Its Reach

The European fencing season continues at full pace, with three major events taking place this weekend across the continent. From the youth pistes of Georgia to the well-established halls of Austria and Slovakia, young fencers will have the chance to compete, grow, and collect valuable international experience.


U14 Circuit in Zestaponi

From 17 to 19 October, Zestaponi, Georgia, welcomes the youngest participants of the European circuit for the U14 stage. The event will feature both epee and sabre, for male and female categories, gathering future champions eager to take their first steps in international competition. Known for its warm atmosphere and strong fencing tradition, Georgia offers an inspiring setting for these young athletes to develop their skills and confidence.


Cadet Circuit in Klagenfurt

In Klagenfurt, Austria, the Cadet Circuit returns with men’s and women’s epee events, scheduled for 18–19 October. The competition includes both individual and team formats, promising intense matches and valuable ranking points for the European Cadet standings. Klagenfurt has become one of the most recognisable stops on the circuit, known for its excellent organisation and high sporting level.

Eurofence League in Bratislava

On 19 October, the Eurofence League continues in Bratislava–Šamorín, Slovakia, with foil events for male and female categories. The competition welcomes fencers from various age groups, offering a bridge between youth and senior levels, and promoting cooperation between clubs across Europe. The Eurofence League remains one of the initiatives encouraging the exchange of experience, friendship, and a shared European fencing culture
