Stanislav Pozdnyakov was re-elected as the President of the European Fencing Confederation

The EFC Elective Congress was held in Sochi, Russia on September 11, 2021. 

It gathered the delegates from 42 countries. The Congress was organized in a hybrid format, allowing those delegates who were unable to attend the meeting personally, to participate via Internet. But more then 90 % members was presented in Sochi. 

Stanislav Pozdnyakov, the current leader of the organization, four-time Olympic champion was re – elected as the President of the European Fencing confederation. The Congress elected a new EFC COMEX: 

Jacek Slupski (POL), Dieter Lammer (GER), Gabor Boczko (HUN), Etienne Vann Cann (NED), Anna Ferraro (ITA), Nuala Mc Garrity (IRL), Nikolay Mateev (ISL), Metaxia Smaili (GRE), Ana Valero – Collantes (SWE)
