The last two days of European U23 Championships in Plovdiv were dedicated to teams event, introducing saber in men's event and epee and foil in women's copmetitions.
Men's saber showed the strength of Romania, that faced Germany in the final, beating them in a tight match 45:44. Italy then faced Russia in bronze medal match and prevailed.
Women's epee brought another gold from epee to Italy after victorious final match against Ukraine. Third place fence-off was a Hungary-Poland match that ended with medal for Hungary.
Women's foil ended with a gold success of Russian team, followed by silver France and bronze Poland.
On the second day of teams event, Russia won the women's saber competition, with Poland as a follow-up and Italy beating Belarus in the third place match. Men's epee meant repetition of success from individual competition, taking gold, facing Italy in the final. Bronze medal went to Germany.
Men's foil competition concluded the championships with gold for Italy, silver France and bronze Russia.
