Foil and Épée to Take the Stage at European Championships
As the European Fencing Championships in Genova enter their third day on 16 June, the excitement continues to build with two highly anticipated individual events.
From 09:00, all eyes will be on the women’s épée, where some of the continent’s most experienced and decorated athletes will step onto the piste in pursuit of the European title. With tactical depth and powerful presence, this event always delivers tension and surprises.
Shortly after, at 11:00, the men’s foil competition will begin, bringing speed, elegance, and fierce rivalries to the forefront. As one of the most competitive disciplines in Europe, the field promises thrilling bouts from early rounds to the very last touch.
The finals of both events will be held from 18:00, showcasing the best of the best in front of a packed Ligurian crowd and fencing fans across the world.
