A great Meeting between EFC and the Nordic Fencing Union has been held in Copenhagen, to discuss some important issues concerning the Nordic and Baltic countries.
President Giorgio Scarso, after the Presentation of the Solidarity Programme in Paris, travelled to Copenhagen to meet with the Nordic Fencing Union, and on this occasion also to have a great dialogue with the President of Sports Confederation of Denmark and Danish NOC, Mr.Hans Natorp. The meeting touched some important topics. Starting with the Solidarity Programme, also addressed were questions about Nordic Fencing Union, Safeguarding and the Retention of teenagers and Mental Health. Also discussed was the possibility for the NFU to contribute to the Solidarity Programme.
Those present discussed Financing/Sponsorship and the possibility to get in touch with European Erasmus+ Programme and to attract Sponsors.
Other important issues addressed were the Distribution of Competitions in the Nordic countries, the topics about Cadet Circuit re entry fees, deadlines and registration of teams. Finally, the organizational principles were clarified: elected positions against donor position.
