Fencing for Everyone events take over Prague and Lausanne with U23 competitions
This weekend, all eyes turn to Prague and Lausanne as two major stages of the Fencing for Everyone (FFE) Circuit take place simultaneously, showcasing a wide range of talent across foil and épée weapons.
In the Czech capital, Prague hosts the Foil U23 events under the banner of EFC FFE Circuit Praha. The competition begins with the U23 Men’s Foil individual tournament, where many of Europe’s most promising fencers will step onto the piste to gain experience and earn valuable points on the circuit. Later the same day, the U23 Team Women’s Foil event will take over, offering a display of team strategy and national pride. On Sunday, the focus shifts to the U23 Women’s Foil individual event and closes with the U23 Team Men’s Foil competition. The event brings together individual flair and tactical teamplay in a city that has hosted numerous international fencing events over the years.

Meanwhile in Lausanne, the fencing community gathers for the U23 Individual and Team Épée tournaments. Saturday’s programme opens with the Men’s Épée individual competition, welcoming athletes with extensive international experience as well as new challengers looking to make their mark. Later in the day, teams in the U23 Women’s Épée category will compete for victory in the team event. Sunday continues with the Women’s Épée individual event, promising a high-level contest of power and precision. The weekend concludes with the U23 Team Men’s Épée competition, wrapping up a packed programme in Switzerland’s Olympic capital.
