Budapest – Cadet Circuit Foil
Budapest once again confirmed its status as one of the strongest stages for European cadet foil, delivering a weekend of high-quality fencing and emotional victories.
In the men’s individual event, Mahel Boumaza of France secured gold after a confident and well-controlled performance, while Aris Kiayias of Cyprus took silver. The podium was completed by Luca Guidi of Italy and Constantin Chino of France, both finishing with bronze.
The women’s competition was marked by Italian dominance, with Martina Molteni winning the title ahead of her teammate Elena Picchi. Danuta Tym of Poland and Japan’s Nonoka Takahashi completed the medal circle with bronze medals.
In the men’s team tournament, France prevailed thanks to the collective strength of Mahel Boumaza, Constantin Chino, Victor Lezinska, and Lucas Robinet, while Italy — represented by Davide Alteri, Damiano Pozzi, Luca Guidi, and Riccardo Mancini — secured silver. The second French squad, France 4, earned bronze through the efforts of Leo Singharat Blanchard, Hugo Caron, Gaspard Claret, and Samuel Robinet.
The women’s team event saw France take another gold, with Melisande Bolore, Helene Zhixuan Li, Elisa Marcel Vu, and Pauline Mazille delivering a composed and tactical performance. Türkiye — represented by Ayse Aksoy, Alara Atmaca, Elvin Gulisik, and Nil Kirtay — achieved silver, while Japan’s third team, composed of Niiyo Nakamura, Airu Nakano, and Ruka Shiraishi, claimed bronze.

Sofia – U14 and Cadet Circuit Sabre
Sofia hosted a double celebration of sabre fencing, bringing together Europe’s rising stars and future champions.
In the U14 girls’ category, Germany shined with Maja Nattuvetty taking gold and Lene Koch taking silver, while Ayla Kayisi, also from Germany, and Jiyun Huang from Singapore secured the bronze medals.
The boys’ U14 final echoed the same German strength, with Delin Su winning the event and Giovanni La Cognata taking silver. Petre Butica of Romania and Singapore’s Kai Seah Rajentheran completed the podium.
The cadet men’s sabre competition saw Giorgi Urushadze of Georgia take gold after a dynamic and controlled performance. Germany’s Till Schmierer took silver, while Kenneth Kong of Sweden and Arda Takka of Türkiye earned bronze.
In the women’s cadet event, Germany’s Mirja-Lena Haack claimed victory, with Ralitsa Gadzheva of Bulgaria taking silver. Hui Xin Sezille of Great Britain and Viktoria Voytova of Germany both finished in third place.
Team competitions added another layer of excitement: in the men’s event, Greece 1 — represented by Michail Koumparos, Evangelos Vasileios Koutlas, and Nikolaos Livanos — secured gold, followed by Singapore 1 and Bulgaria.
Among cadet women’s teams, Germany delivered a brilliant gold thanks to Julia Doll, Mirja-Lena Haack, Luisa Rezi, and Ruoshui Su. Bulgaria’s squad took silver, while Türkiye completed the podium with bronze.

Lausanne – U23 European Circuit Épée
Lausanne provided an elegant and competitive setting for the U23 European Circuit, offering gripping matches in both individual and team events.
In the men’s individual épée, Sven Vineis of Switzerland claimed the title after a strong final against Spain’s Diego Rodriguez Aceytuno. Jaime De La Cal Guijarro and Mordechai Milu Lachman — representing Spain and Israel respectively — reached the semifinals and earned bronze.
The women’s competition was marked by the excellence of Ukraine’s Alina Dmytruk, who secured gold ahead of Israel’s Alexandra Kravets. Bronze medals were awarded to Oleksandra Romanova of Ukraine and Magda Louna Maiga of Switzerland.
Team events brought further excitement. Spain 1 triumphed in the men’s épée team competition with Jaime De La Cal Guijarro, Alvaro Fernandez Calleja, Jose Miguel Martin Gamazo, and Rayan Rami Rozpide. Switzerland 3 took silver thanks to Theo Brochard, Sven Vineis, Colin Mumenthaler, and Matthieu Friedli, while Israel took bronze.
In the women’s épée teams, Ukraine delivered a powerful performance, with Emily Conrad, Alina Dmytruk, Yuliia Fatula, and Anna Maksymenko earning gold. Spain 1 followed with silver, and Switzerland 3 completed the podium with bronze.
