The President of the European Confederation Giorgio Scarso, accompanied by the member of EFC COMEX Ana Valero-Collantes presented ongoing projects, "Solidarity Programme" and " Promotional Programme" as well as the calendar of the season 2023-2024 (U14, U17, U23 tournaments and Zonal Championships) of the European Fencing Confederation and summary of decisions made by the Congress of the EFC in Krakow were presented by EFC COMEX member Ana Valero-Collantes.
The event was in presence of FIE Vice President Erika Aze, FIE President of Fair-Play Council (MH) Bert van der Flier, Paolo Azzi President Italian Fencing and FIE COMEX member, Tadeusz Tomaszewski, President of the Polish Fencing Association, Marco Fichera President Organising Committee for World Championships Milano 2023
The aim of this approach is from a transparency point of view and also important for public information, at the same time in order to give the opportunity for organisers of the major events of our Confederation to present coming events.
The conference was held 28 July at 11:30 at "Casa Italia"(Arco della Pace), in the presence of the highest sports and government authorities present in Milano, Marco Riva (President CONI Lombardia), Martina Riva( Councillor for Sport, Tourism and Youth), Mayor of Cagliari, Gianmarco Tavolacci, Mayor of Napoli Gennaro Esposito
