FOGGIA – At the end of Cadet competions, the spotlights are on the Junior category, but Italy is always on the top of the podium. The foil fencer Tommaso Marini dominated his rivals since the beginning: after debuting 15-4 against the romanian Alexandru Pirva, his march goes on 15-7 against the ukranian Daniil Tkach and 15-6 against the polish

Piotr Borowiek, 15-4 against another polish Jan Jurkiewicz, 15-7 against the russian Vladislav Mylinkov in semifinals and 15-8 in finals against another russian Anton Borodachev, winning the gold medal.

Bronze medal, together with Mylnikov, the french Armand Spichiger who defeated the italian Pietro Velluti 15-9.

The italian Giulia Arpino won the bronze medal in women sabre defeated by the hungarian 15-13.

Italy leadind the medal collection with 5 gold, 1 silver and 8 bronze medals.
